PMU FAQ

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE

If you’ve made it this far it means you’ve decided to take permanent make up into serious  consideration.  During  the  treatment  I  do  ask  for  1  on  1  attention  for  esthetican  and  client  that  no  children  under  18  come  when  PMU  services  are  in  session .  Microblading is a very tedious technique,  using a hand tool to implant pigment under the skin to mimic real hair strokes!

BEFORE  YOUR  A APPOINTMENT

  • Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure
  • Do not tan two weeks prior to the service, or have a sunburned face  THIS  WILL  MESS  WITH  CHOOSING  COLOR
  • Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to the procedure
  • Do not work out the day of the procedure
  • Do not have botox 3 weeks prior to the procedure
  • Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners)

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:

Is Your Space Clean/Sterile?

I abide by Florida Health Department and make sure to always sterilize my equipment! Anytime Biohazard provides Cleanup for me at any service time I need. . All blades and handles of blades are disposable (individually pre-sterilized and wrapped with lot and expiration number).  All other items on tray are disposable (gauze, cups, numbing cups, fiber brushes). After each procedure, all items are disposed of properly and all surfaces are wiped down with a germacide, bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal wipe and spray.
